 We started out
with a nice selection of all the popular
domestic brews. We have cans and bottles. You can buy one,
you can buy a few, you can buy a keg. There are the newcomers, the
low carb beers (with 2.6-5 grams of carbs/12 oz. serving). There are
some old favorites like Rheingold and Ballantine. The variety of
imports covers the globe with new
arrivals almost weekly. There is a great selection of Belgian ales
and lambics from Chimay, Duvel, and Lindenman’s just to name a few.
With the warmer weather our selection from South of the Border
expands well beyond Corona. The fall brings a dozen different
Octoberfests, most from Germany, but some great choices from smaller
Micro-brewers like Harpoon, Magic Hat,
Dogfish Head and Brooklyn. To warm your winter the Barleywine ales
begin to arrive for Thanksgiving. Sierra Nevada’s and Brooklyn’s
Monster Ale are always well received. Spring takes us back to Europe
for the Boch beers and Weiss varieties. |

Malternatives are another set of
popular, and relatively new, warm weather beverages are the
malt based “cocktail drinks” and the hard teas, and
lemonades. Smirinoff Ice and Twisted and Mike’s have made a
big splash and new flavors out this summer (lime, green
apple and raspberry) are sure to be great additions.
Although they’re more popular in the summer and fall,
hard ciders are available year round from Woodchuck,
Cider Jack and Strongbow to name a few.
For those times that you want a beer that’s really not a beer,
we have a great selection of
non-alcoholic
beers from the U.S. and Europe. |

Keg beer is available all year.
Domestic and imported varieties as well as hard ciders, are available in
kegs in sizes from ½ down to 1/6, depending on the manufacturer. We stock
Bud, Bud Light and Coors Light every weekend, but if you let us know by
Tuesday we can have almost anything in by Friday afternoon. We have taps
and tubs to rent, with a small deposit, if you need. There is a new State
law in effect since November ’03 that requires a $75 deposit (cash only),
and a bit of paperwork. It takes some time so be prepared. |
